About Me

Family and Community Background:

I was raised in a small, close-knit family in Ithari, Jhapa, a neighborhood known for its resilience despite many challenges.  Our community struggles with high unemployment and limited access to educational resources.  Our income only comes from my Father so it is difficult for me to fund higher education.

Why do you want to be a pharmacist?

I am passionate about pursuing a Diploma in Pharmacy with a focus on medicine because I have always been fascinated by the science behind how medications work and their impact on patient health.  I am eager to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute to patient care and ensure the safe and effective use of medications.  

What will be the IMPACT of your studies on you, your community and your country?

For me, it represents the fulfillment of my educational and career aspirations, equipping me with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the healthcare field.  For my family, my success in this program will provide financial stability and serve as a testament to their sacrifices and support.  For my community, my education will enable me to address healthcare needs by providing accessible pharmaceutical care to the community and promoting health literacy.
